Ideally situated between two of Cape Ann's most beautiful beaches, this ideal vacation rental home is a mere 3-minute walk to Long Beach and an 8-minute walk to Good Harbor Beach. The home has a single level and an open floor plan that offers convenience and practicality.
The deck overlooks the spacious yard and features a patio dining set with an umbrella for shade. There is also a gas grill, additional outdoor seating, and a hot and cold-water outdoor shower to rinse off the sand after the beach. The location for this beach house is especially convenient to many local amenities. In addition to the beaches, in one direction there are supermarkets, coffee shops, family restaurants and the rest of Gloucester beyond. In the other direction is Rockport, with its famous village center of shops, eateries, art galleries, and the Shalin Liu performance center.

What does my rented vacation home provide?
Since all Atlantic Vacation Homes rental properties are residential homes, and not hotel rooms, they are all fully furnished and include a living room, kitchen, and bedrooms and bathrooms as described on each property detail page.
- The kitchen includes cooking utensils, pots & pans, dishcloths, potholders, flatware, dishware, glassware and a corkscrew. Standard appliances include a refrigerator, microwave, stove, toaster, and coffee maker. Some properties are equipped with additional items; please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property. If you require specialty items, such as kitchen scales or food processors, it is best to bring your own.
- Bed linens and bath linens (bath towels, hand towels and face cloths) are provided in accordance with the advertised occupancy of the property. Beds will be made with linens, pillows, blankets, and bedspreads prior to your arrival, with the exception of trundles, top bunks, futons, and sleep sofas.
- The property includes basic housekeeping supplies, such as brooms and dustpans.
- Many (but not all) properties have a landline for local calls. Please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property.
- Air conditioning, beach towels, hot tubs, TVs, DVD players, porch furniture, grills, docks, recreational games and equipment, and other amenities are furnished as a courtesy by the homeowner and are not guaranteed. Please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property for details.
Guests will also receive a “Welcome Kit” that contains:
- An area guide
- One kitchen sponge
- One small bottle of dish soap
- One dishwasher detergent pod or packet
- One laundry detergent pod or packet
- One trash bag
In addition, the complimentary items below are provided as a convenient starter supply for when you first arrive. Additional items beyond the starter supply are the responsibility of the guest.

We happened to pick great weather. had a great clean house to stay in beds were good appliances were all in good order (did not ise dishwasher)..plenty of hot water had great rides on whale boats and schooner good fish meals close to beach flat walk for senior citizen no complaints

Two Beaches Vaca

We have been vacationing in Cape Ann for over 30 years and this by far was the best so far! The vacation house was perfect! Large enough for the 4 adults and 2 children. The availability of beach toys, chairs, and beach cart were super helpful. We will definitely book this location again in the future.

Even Rain Doesn’t Disappoint

Again this year our 2 week stay at Two Beaches was wonderful! Even rainy days were relaxing as the house has space for all to find a place of their own. Recent renovations allowed for even more comfortable living. Look forward to returning in 2022!

A wonderful place to stay!

Great clean, roomy and well equipped vacation home on a beautiful lot. Just walk down the street and you will be at Long Beach, our favorite beach at Cape Ann and one of our favorite beaches period! Plenty of parking too out in the front of the house. Best part is you are not far from Gloucester in one direction and Rockport in the other. I recommend staying at Two Beaches Cottage if you are looking for that wonderful, relaxing summer beach vacation experience.

Coming Home

As a person who was born and grew up in Gloucester and still have family and friends there, I always consider "coming home" to vacation there. Two Beaches is especially my favorite "home". It's near the beaches I love and is convenient to shopping, restaurants and attractions I remember growing up with. It's exactly like "coming home." Love it!

Gets Better Every Year

Better Than Ever

Our two week vacation at Two Beaches Cottage was even better than the summer before, and that’s saying a lot, because last summer was perfect! Throughout the year any communication with the office staff at Atlantic Vacation Homes is consistent, courteous and reliable. Spring and early summer updates via email are helpful and provide useful information. Upon arrival of our stay, the outside appearance of beach house looked lovely, the inside was simple, fresh and clean. The pride of ownership and the pride of the AVH staff was evident throughout the house, and during each day of our stay.

Wonderful Gloucester vacation rental

We loved our week stay at Two Beaches. The house was very clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed, plenty of nice bath towels, beach towels, beach chairs, kitchen utensils, dishwasher, frig all new. The house feels bigger than it is. We had two families in the house and there was lots of room. The beds were new and comfortable, the backyard and porch were a delight. The short walk to good harbor beach was so nice to look at all the beautiful homes and views along the way.

Great location and accommodation!

This house is very clean and super well appointed with nice towels, kitchenware, bedding etc. You can walk to either beach, probably a drop off in the car if you have little ones and lots of gear to bring. We walked using the awesome beach carts provided. There are fans provided in the house so you can keep the air flowing and with windows open it keeps the house pretty comfortable. The yard is really pretty, nicely landscaped around some very cool rock formations. A lot of thought has gone into making this home a great rental.

Fantastic Beach Rental in Lovely Gloucester Neighborhood

Two Beaches Cottage is a lovely property and was the perfect location to host a reunion for my family. The cottage kitchen is well equipped for preparing and enjoying meals. The living room, sunroom, front and back deck areas, in home washer/dryer, and bbq & yard are all wonderful features. We appreciated the beach chairs and beach towels. I was truly impressed with the ample pillows and bed & bath linens. The layout of the bedrooms and common areas is ideal for group visiting, as well as private time. We did not do any sight seeing, as we had not been together in 2 1/2 years, so used the week for quality visiting time. It really was a wonderful vacation.
