What a perfect spot to enjoy Rockport and the Cape Ann area! The house was spotless and had everything we needed. It was the perfect size for 5 adults. We would easily stay here again and really hope to actually do so one day soon.

We enjoyed a short vacation at this lovely cottage. The views were amazing…especially being treated to an amazing Northern Lights display! The house is beautifully updated while maintaining its cottage charm. Finding the house after dark the first night was a bit challenging because it’s at the end of a very narrow access road but this location adds to the peaceful setting. I would definitely stay here again!!

This is the sixth time I have booked The View. It is a beautiful property. Great kitchen- never want to leave. We use it for our yearly Sisters' Week. Perfection.

For us this sweet home with the unmatched view is just perfect. Walk to beaches and town in 12 minutes. Walk to the quarry and take a glorious fresh water swim. Grill some Fenway Frank’s on the deck or just sit there for hours reading a book and watching the boats come in and out. Thanks for another great vacation at “The View”!!

Beautiful area. Love love love the view! Walkable to the train without luggage. Taxi service is great, recommend getting a taxi from the train when you have luggage. Perfect setting.

Beautiful views , great location, the house was very clean but could use some tender loving care on maintenance.

We had a wonderful stay coming to Gloucester / Rockport area for nearly 40 years, one of our favorite spots to visit. First time renting a home, very comfortable and the views were great. No problems with the accommodations, went very smooth for the first time. Hopefully will visit Rockport next year. Thank you

The view did NOT disappoint!!!! What an awesome view!!!! Through the Pictures windows and the deck, we could see Granite Pier, the boats in Gull Cove, the sailboats from Sandy Bay, Bearskin Neck and the Beautiful ocean! The open concept kitchen, living room, dining was great. Had everything we needed...or wanted! We did spend many hours on the deck. We had an unexpected surprise..... the fireworks on Granite Pier for the Illumination Weekend. They were Spectacular!!!!! We'll definitely be returning next year! Thank you!

We had two wonderful weeks to enjoy this special house, its glorious view, Rockport, Gloucester, Cape Ann, moon rises, harbor boat traffic, seafood, bike riding, walking, beaches, striper fly fishing, relaxing, and especially time with family and friends. We had wonderful time staying at this home perched high on a ledge overlooking the ocean and awakening to amazing sunrises. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable with wonderful linens. The location is very convenient to the village of Rockport and other area attractions. We feel very fortunate that we picked this special place to celebrate Christmas with our family.

We spent a perfect holiday weekend at The View. This home was clean, well equipped, and the beds are extremely comfortable. We couldn\'t get enough of the amazing panoramic view, and especially enjoyed watching the colorful sunrises with our morning cup of coffee. The location is convenient to the village of Rockport and other nearby attractions. We hope to return in warmer weather.

This house was really quite perfect! It was convenient, comfortable, clean and cozy! I could have been happy just relaxing at the house admiring the view which was even more beautiful in person! The place was surprisingly well equipped. Communication with the property manager was easy and always responded quickly!! I looked through many properties before booking this one ; I would book it again. We all loved it. You need to see it to believe it!

Thanks for an enjoyable stay in Rockport. The property featured a well-stocked kitchen, new appliances and breathtaking vistas of the water. Unfortunately, the timing of our autumn visit was after several businesses (retail shops/galleries/restaurants) already closed or operated on a significantly reduced schedule. We spent time on walks around Rockport and in Halibut State Park. We recommend checking out the local performance center (Shalin Liu) which attracts strong talent to the area. Brothers Brew donuts were also noteworthy.

Loved my 2nd stay at The View as much as my first! The view is even more spectacular in person. It’s quite the “WOW” moment when you first step on the porch. I hope it remains a rental for a while!

We chose The View based on the great reviews and photos. The location was perfect and the view from the deck and huge windows inside was even better than we imagined. The house was well stocked and everything was smooth from booking to check out. Overall it was an excellent stay and we hope to visit again soon.

This was our second vacation at The View. Everything in this lovely and immaculate house is set up for a wonderful stay. I wanted to sit and look out at the view of the sea, the boats, the sunrises and sunsets all day! But there are many fun things to do in the area. The sea breezes from the deck were refreshing and the air conditioners in the main room and bedrooms worked beautifully during this especially hot summer. We cooked most evening dinners in the well equipped and beautifully decorated kitchen and dined out on the deck. I know Cape Ann very well and we enjoyed spending time locally, seeing family, walking around Bearskin Neck, kayaking, and relaxing on the beaches. Overall, a wonderful stay!
