Seacroft

We stayed the first weekend of October. The house was great. The view was beautiful and the Atlantic’s check in and response time to inquiries were on point. The best part of this house were the beds. Our group was large enough that we used every bed in the house. And everyone was happy with their bed. Thank you again. Our stay was absolutely enjoyable.

My group stayed for a girls trip. We wanted the creaky old house that was stamped with the past and we got it. Every bed was used. Every bed was excellent. The view was beautiful. Coffee on the porch at sunrise is highly recommend. Any questions had a prompt response. Would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely house and property in a beautiful town. Office staff not great at communication. They would tell me that would follow up with an answer to a question and then not follow up so I had to keep calling/reaching out.

Me and my 9 girlfriends came for a long weekend to celebrate my bachelorette and this house was perfect! It has space to fit all of us (and then some more), it was a gorgeous home, the views were immaculate. We arrived a little earlier than scheduled and the team got us to check in early, and when one of the girls forgot something the cleaning team waited at the house for me to go back and grab it. They also helped jumped one of my friends car that died ! The team was amazing, the house was stunning everything about it was perfect. I highly recommend this place if you’re traveling with a big party!

We all had a great time, lots of space and privacy.

Very nice for our large group. Wish there were more bathrooms, but we made do. Loved the wraparound porch, making sitting out there at night quite relaxing. All in all everyone was happy.

Perfect location with amenities for a large family gathering. We loved this house, enough bedrooms, gathering spaces, the porch was perfect to look out at the ocean and hang out. The black stone griddle was amazing for cooking large breakfasts in a short amount of time. Only challenge was the beach was too far to walk to, and parking cost $35-$45/day. Instructions on how to reserve parking for the beaches would be a great addition.

My family and I loved staying here. There was so much room and we were all very comfortable. The view from the back deck is amazing! The house is in a perfect location and is very close to downtown. I would highly recommend staying here

AVH has a small group of wonderful houses, all from the golden days of vacation homes, with back stairs for servants. Today’s families (ours too) love the generous porches, the views, the many rooms, the period style. Seacroft is a lovely example. And three generations stayed off their phones the whole week!

We loved Seacroft and our time in Rockport and Gloucester. The views from the porch are even more striking than the photos, particularly at sunrise. The house is comfortable and everyone commented on how much fun the house was. It's also in a great location to get around the surrounding area. We visited the coast from Ipswich to Gloucester and even caught the train to Boston one afternoon. There is a footpath to overlook the ocean but not really a walkable swimming beach. We just drove a few minutes to beaches in the area. It works out since there is ice cream, conveniently, on the way home. Highly, highly recommend.
