This updated and well-cared for Victorian home with its captivating ocean views, sits high on two private acres at the end of a secluded lane. The handsome wrap-around porch provides a relaxing spot to enjoy mature manicured gardens, the iconic twin lighthouse towers on Thacher Island, scenic Loblolly Cove and the ocean beyond.
Enjoy modern comfort while soaking in the timeless, gracious ambiance of this classic Victorian-era home. The main floor consists of a spacious living room, formal dining room, eat-in kitchen, and a home office, with views of the ocean and the leafy gardens. Upstairs, you will find plenty of bedrooms for all the family on two additional levels.
The garden level encompasses the main entrance as well as a games room with ping-pong table and laundry room.
After a day at the beach, you can enjoy the outdoor shower to clean off the sand. The spacious backyard allows plenty of room for lawn games, outdoor family activities and fun. Walk down to Loblolly Cove where you can put in your kayak or stand up paddleboard or swim at two sandy beaches just a half-mile away.
The village of Rockport is just 1 1/2 miles away with its art galleries, antique stores, gift shops, restaurants, a movie theater and the famed Shalin Liu performing arts center. Other enticing attractions include the many granite quarries, Halibut Point State Park, footpaths leading to the ocean and the beautiful rocky coastline.
ALSO AVAILABLE AS A WINTER RENTAL. The winter rental excludes the third floor and so the home has five bedrooms rather than seven. Two bedrooms available in the winter have queen size beds, two bedrooms have full size beds, and the last bedroom has two twin beds.
No pets. No smoking. No events or parties.
What does my rented vacation home provide?
Since all Atlantic Vacation Homes rental properties are residential homes, and not hotel rooms, they are all fully furnished and include a living room, kitchen, and bedrooms and bathrooms as described on each property detail page.
- The kitchen includes cooking utensils, pots & pans, dishcloths, potholders, flatware, dishware, glassware and a corkscrew. Standard appliances include a refrigerator, microwave, stove, toaster, and coffee maker. Some properties are equipped with additional items; please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property. If you require specialty items, such as kitchen scales or food processors, it is best to bring your own.
- Bed linens and bath linens (bath towels, hand towels and face cloths) are provided in accordance with the advertised occupancy of the property. Beds will be made with linens, pillows, blankets, and bedspreads prior to your arrival, with the exception of trundles, top bunks, futons, and sleep sofas.
- The property includes basic housekeeping supplies, such as brooms and dustpans.
- Many (but not all) properties have a landline for local calls. Please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property.
- Air conditioning, beach towels, hot tubs, TVs, DVD players, porch furniture, grills, docks, recreational games and equipment, and other amenities are furnished as a courtesy by the homeowner and are not guaranteed. Please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property for details.
Guests will also receive a “Welcome Kit” that contains:
- An area guide
- One kitchen sponge
- One small bottle of dish soap
- One dishwasher detergent pod or packet
- One laundry detergent pod or packet
- One trash bag
In addition, the complimentary items below are provided as a convenient starter supply for when you first arrive. Additional items beyond the starter supply are the responsibility of the guest.

INCREDIBLE !

It has space to fit all of us (and then some more), it was a gorgeous home, the views were immaculate. We arrived a little earlier than scheduled and the team got us to check in early, and when one of the girls forgot something the cleaning team waited at the house for me to go back and grab it. They also helped jumped one of my friends car that died ! The team was amazing, the house was stunning everything about it was perfect. I highly recommend this place if you’re traveling with a big party !

Very nice for our large group. Wish there were more bathrooms, but we made do. Loved the wraparound porch, making sitting out there at night quite relaxing. All in all everyone was happy.

Perfect Location
by KristinPerfect location with amenities for a large family gathering. We loved this house, enough bedrooms, gathering spaces, the porch was perfect to look out at the ocean and hang out. The black stone griddle was amazing for cooking large breakfasts in a short amount of time. Only challenge was the beach was too far to walk to, and parking cost $35-$45/day. Instructions on how to reserve parking for the beaches would be a great addition.

Great spot for our family
by Jeremy PWe loved Seacroft and our time in Rockport and Gloucester. The views from the porch are even more striking than the photos, particularly at sunrise. The house is comfortable and everyone commented on how much fun the house was. It's also in a great location to get around the surrounding area. We visited the coast from Ipswich to Gloucester and even caught the train to Boston one afternoon. There is a footpath to overlook the ocean but not really a walkable swimming beach. We just drove a few minutes to beaches in the area. It works out since there is ice cream, conveniently, on the way home. Highly, highly recommend.
