Nestled on the edge of the village of Rockport, Sea Glass on South is a brand new and modern retreat, inspired by the New England farm houses of days gone by. This architect-designed Green home embraces rustic charm and warmth combined with contemporary, high-end, and energy-efficient amenities, all within walking distance of Rockport's shops and beaches. The main level consists of a spacious open-plan living/dining/kitchen design, filled with an abundance of natural light streaming through a multitude of windows. The ceiling on this level includes exposed beams and window seats reclaimed from bleachers and beautifully refinished from Gloucester schools.
Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with its own generous ensuite bath. The lower level adds an additional suite with a Murphy bed, sleeper sofa, TV and a work area, plus a full bath. The home is beautifully appointed and includes central air and top quality appliances. In addition to being elegant, the home is also energy efficient, meeting the standards of the EPA "Energy Star," "Zero Energy Ready" and "Indoor AIRplus" programs, with systems that provide exceptional indoor air quality and high-efficiency electric heat pump HVAC and hot water.
There is a deck on the side of the home, with a gas grill and an outdoor dining set. The front courtyard garden, with a spacious reclaimed granite patio, also offers places to sit and relax with family and friends. An open outdoor shower, with hot and cold water, makes it easy to rinse off after the beach.
When it's time to explore, the heart of picturesque Rockport village is just 1/3 mile away. You can leave your car and stroll to the many shops, restaurants, galleries, and Old Garden Beach.
This property is a duplex with quiet neighbors in the adjacent unit.
The shared driveway offers parking spaces for 2 cars.

What does my rented vacation home provide?
Since all Atlantic Vacation Homes rental properties are residential homes, and not hotel rooms, they are all fully furnished and include a living room, kitchen, and bedrooms and bathrooms as described on each property detail page.
- The kitchen includes cooking utensils, pots & pans, dishcloths, potholders, flatware, dishware, glassware and a corkscrew. Standard appliances include a refrigerator, microwave, stove, toaster, and coffee maker. Some properties are equipped with additional items; please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property. If you require specialty items, such as kitchen scales or food processors, it is best to bring your own.
- Bed linens and bath linens (bath towels, hand towels and face cloths) are provided in accordance with the advertised occupancy of the property. Beds will be made with linens, pillows, blankets, and bedspreads prior to your arrival, with the exception of trundles, top bunks, futons, and sleep sofas.
- The property includes basic housekeeping supplies, such as brooms and dustpans.
- Many (but not all) properties have a landline for local calls. Please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property.
- Air conditioning, beach towels, hot tubs, TVs, DVD players, porch furniture, grills, docks, recreational games and equipment, and other amenities are furnished as a courtesy by the homeowner and are not guaranteed. Please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property for details.
Guests will also receive a “Welcome Kit” that contains:

The beautiful custom cabinetry includes a corner desk under large windows, the perfect corner to work from home or take a Zoom call. The dining table, with a built-in lazy Susan, seats 6. Glass sliding doors lead out to a contemporary deck.

At the top of the stairwell landing is a full-sized stacked washer and dyer tucked behind a rolling barn door.

I've stayed in several Atlantic Vacation Homes and it's a great experience every time. Definitely some of the nicer properties in Rockport.
When can we book again?
by JimThe house is exquisite and laid out in a very functional and intentional way - kudos to the designer and builder. Our granddaughters had been introduced to Rockport before, but this location provided nice walking access to downtown and to Old Garden Beach and the Headlands. The property is set back far enough to allow for quiet enjoyment including the outdoor area, and the girls saw rabbits and turkeys. The multiple full baths (and outdoor shower for the beach return) allowed everyone to cleanup quickly and to move on to the next adventure of the day!
Lovely Home, Great Location!
by LeeSea Glass on South is a lovely home with many thoughtful amenities and plenty of room! The interior was warm and inviting and the side patio and front fire pit gave us plenty of outdoor space to spread out and relax. The location can not be beat! Just a 5 minute walk down to Bearskin Neck and close to the beach. Everything one could want to relax and recharge!
Great Stay, perfect place!
by JoannaLoved Sea Glass! Had 6 family members staying here and the place was perfect. Had everything you might need, clean, modern and comfortable. All design elements are top notch. The fire pit area was so comfy on a cool night and the deck on the side was another great place to hang out. The hosts were lovely to chat with and very accommodating. A quick walk from Bearskin Neck so no worries with parking a car. Highly recommend this beautiful home.
Rockport Gem!
by BonnieWow, we just had the opportunity to enjoy a magnificent family stay at Sea Glass on South. The house is impeccable, beautifully decorated, with great sleeping and gathering space and comes with every amenity imaginable. Walking distance to the ocean and the picturesque and charming Rockport bear skin neck. Parking was plentiful and convenient and unique outdoor space. It was the best short term rental we have ever had, and we already booked it for another weekend. Atlantic Vacation Homes provided terrific service and were great to work with. This is an absolute gem on Cape Ann!

Beautiful vacation home

The architecture is top notch. The kids loved watching the bunnies and birds in the yard. We were all sad to leave.

The Best of Rockport

What a FABULOUS place!
by Paige GJust finished a multi-day trip east to hang out with my college suitemates. We stayed at Sea Glass on South – what a FABULOUS place! This beautiful property was a perfect fit for our group. The finishes are lovely, and the property is very well equipped. The attention to detail is impeccable. The layout of the property enables both personal space and privacy while at the same time allowing for comfortable group space – multiple spaces inside and outside. If you are planning to be in the Rockport MA area – stay here! Not only is it a lovely property – it is in a perfect location. You will be a 10-15 minute walk from everything – town center, beaches, and hiking trails. The hosts clearly want their guests to enjoy Rockport and the surrounding area as much as they do. I cannot think of anything that would make this property a better, more comfortable place to stay. I will be back!

Amazing House and Location
by Michael BI stayed at Seaglass South in Rockport MA on beautiful Cape Ann arriving June 2nd and departing June 8th, 2022. The house is in an ideal location to downtown Rockport within easy walking or biking distance of the many sights, restaurants, and shopping locations that downtown Rockport offers - including Brothers for homemade donuts and coffee! I also did a morning run, and within a few short blocks was running along the ocean with stunning views of the water and surrounding beaches. The new, custom built home is beautiful with many architectural details in a relaxed, family friendly atmosphere. Our stay included four adults and a baby. Outside there is a stone patio with a propane fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs to enjoy relaxing, eating dinner, or roasting marshmallows. The hosts were very responsive and welcoming making our stay even more enjoyable. Every chance I get to Rockport this will be my first choice!
