Pigeon Hill

Our stay at this charming Airbnb in Rockport, Massachusetts, was delightful. The property has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The backyard and garden are lovely and well-kept, providing a perfect spot to unwind. The included grill is helpful, especially if you want to cook a nice steak or piece of fish. Inside, the home is very clean and spacious. The shower is comfortable, and overall, the amenities are satisfactory. The air conditioning works fantastically—we were there during a heat wave and had no problems staying cool. However, one point of feedback is that the king mattress in the main bedroom needs updating as it's a bit noisy. Additionally, the internet could use some TLC; it was a bit slow but worked the whole time. One of the highlights is the location. It’s a short five-minute walk or less to Granite Pier, offering beautiful vistas of Rockport Harbor and the ocean. The town is easily accessible with a 20-minute walk along scenic beaches and charming streets. A quick drive takes you to more points of interest, including Halibut State Park, a lovely old quarry with stunning ocean views and beautiful walking trails. The home also has charming little touches, such as thoughtfully chosen artwork on the walls and well-equipped kitchen utensils, making it feel even more welcoming. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners who live next door—a very nice, friendly couple. Overall, we had a great stay. This Airbnb is a lovely, clean, and convenient place to explore Rockport.

We had a previously bad experience, with another rental company, located in Savannah, GA, one year ago. That place hadn’t been cleaned very well at all, before our arrival. So, we were very pleased to see that everything was clean when we got to Pigeon Hill! It was a nice bonus that the showers included optional hand held shower heads. The only real annoyance we had was the internet going out, while watching TV, in the evening. It happened 3 times, on different nights. One of the times was about 3/4 of the way through a movie. When it happened, we couldn’t reconnect to the internet. It was just not available. The next day, it would be back on. Over all, though, it was a good experience, and I would rent with Atlantic Vacation Homes, again in the future, if we are in the area.

Well planned apartment for comfortable stay. Furniture all in fine condition, kitchen well equipped, excellent AC units, lovely garden. Location,pigeon Cove is wonderful and one can walk to town. Owners are very nice and very helpful.

A beautifully, newly renovated, historically charming apartment with many modern and surprising amenities. The owners are very helpful and the neighbors kind with a real sense of a caring community. it is close to many destinations, within minutes of most places at Cape Ann. This place I would highly recommend as one of my top choices.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pigeon Hill. The house is a beautiful Victorian home, updated with all the modern amenities our family enjoys. It was perfectly clean and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the coastal decor. Lots of little extra touches like a selection of nautical-themed prints by local artists and great books in the bedrooms for both kiddos and adults. It was an easy walk to the charming downtown area (great shopping!), local beaches, and the historic Atlantic Path. We had a great stay and look forward to returning!

Lovely, comfortable, well equipped, clean, and wonderful hosts. Close to many areas for walking (Parker Pit, Atlantic Coast Trail, Granite Pier, downtown Rockport, surrounding neighborhood...). Looking forward to return visits.

Couldn't be happier with the house and garden. Spotlessly clean, everything working perfectly (John an electrical engineer so not entirely surprising). Delightfully charming house and decor but with all modern amenities - very good air-con (it was a hot week), and very good showers etc. John and Jane a lovely couple who were super welcoming and John took us on a lovely walk through the woods. Would thoroughly recommend - ask John where the swimming hole is!

We really enjoyed our stay! The home was beautiful- it had recently been updated but still retained the charm of an older home. Our hosts Jane and John could not have been more welcoming!! They told us about local events and places to eat and things to do. They also had a beautiful garden in the back of the home and encouraged us to use some of the herbs from their garden! We also loved walking down to Downtown Rockport every morning. I was truly a little sad when it was time to go home.

Pigeon Hill is a beautiful home in a great location - very clean and well equipped. Walking distance to beaches, Granite Pier, downtown and all Rockport has to offer. We will definitely vacation @ Pigeon Hill again. Atlantic Vacation Homes is a first-class operation.
