Mill Brook House

We had a nice stay overall. The location was excellent, within walking distance of downtown and Front Beach, and the neighborhood was safe and quiet. The house was clean, charming, and comfortable. The layout was awkward, with no first-floor bathroom and the upstairs bathroom accessible only through a bedroom. The bathrooms also needed updating, and the chipped, peeling bathtub and lack of a fan were disappointing. Given the price, the limited supplies were also underwhelming. Our biggest concern was check-in. Instructions arrived at 4:00 PM, but no entry code was included. With four young children waiting outside in bathing suits, this was especially inconvenient. After contacting someone and waiting for a return call, we were locked out for approximately 35 minutes. Although I was told someone would follow up, I never heard back. Overall, the location was great, but the check-in issue, lack of follow-up, limited supplies, and bathroom and layout concerns are worth noting.

Conveniently located 4 Bed/2 Bath home just a few minute walk from Rockport's Main Beach. Wonderful place to stay if you don't want to drive.

We had a great week. The location of the house was perfect! The house is walking distance to the shops in Rockport and to the beach. Parking was ample. The steps are steep so not suited for people who don’t “do” steps. Appliances are new. Bathrooms are ready for an update. Would definitely rent again !! Thanks for a memorable family vacation!!

We visited Rockport with our family. The home was just as described and pictured. It was in a great location for us to walk to a local beach and the downtown area of Rockport, and it was within easy drives to other beaches and towns. The house was just what we were looking for and we would definitely love to come back again. Jonathan was very responsive and left clear instructions for both check in and check out.

A fabulous week in Rockport including a comfortable spot to watch the Illumination Night fireworks from the 3rd floor ocean view bedroom. (The granddaughters thought some looked like fairy dust!) You get your cardio workout doing the stairs (especially when going from basement laundry back to the top floor) but it was clean, comfortable and great walking access to the town.

Really enjoyed the home and the area. There was so much to do.

The place was charming, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped except that there was no salt and pepper, and the bathrooms clean and functional, the only problem was that we ran out of toilet paper the last day and couldn’t find any more. Aside from these minor problems the place was wonderful, conveniently located near downtown Rockport, with ample parking on the property.

Beautiful home in a great location. Well appointed and convenient location. Lots of parking and seamless check-in and check-out. Could not ask for a better experience.
