What does my rented vacation home provide?


Since all Atlantic Vacation Homes rental properties are residential homes, and not hotel rooms, they are all fully furnished and include a living room, kitchen, and bedrooms and bathrooms as described on each property detail page.


  • The kitchen includes cooking utensils, pots & pans, dishcloths, potholders, flatware, dishware, glassware and a corkscrew. Standard appliances include a refrigerator, microwave, stove, toaster, and coffee maker. Some properties are equipped with additional items; please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property. If you require specialty items, such as kitchen scales or food processors, it is best to bring your own.

  • Bed linens and bath linens (bath towels, hand towels and face cloths) are provided in accordance with the advertised occupancy of the property. Beds will be made with linens, pillows, blankets, and bedspreads prior to your arrival, with the exception of trundles, top bunks, futons, and sleep sofas.

  • The property includes basic housekeeping supplies, such as brooms and dustpans.

  • Many (but not all) properties have a landline for local calls. Please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property.

  • Air conditioning, beach towels, hot tubs, TVs, DVD players, porch furniture, grills, docks, recreational games and equipment, and other amenities are furnished as a courtesy by the homeowner and are not guaranteed. Please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property for details.

Guests will also receive a "Welcome Kit" that contains:

Better Than Expected

We were pleasantly surprised with how perfect the condo was for us. It was spacious and clean. The outdoor space with view was a plus, and the weather was so nice that we were able to sit outside often. The house is walking distance to downtown Gloucester and also to the Boulevard and many restaurants. We have stayed and rented in Gloucester many times. Harbortown Hideaway is one of our favorites.

My wife and I stayed for a week with our two young children and my wife’s parents. The trip was great! The property only includes the first floor of a two story house, but there is plenty of space and two outdoor decks to use. The space is very private. Although we could hear the upstairs neighbor occasionally, we never felt like the place wasn’t our “space.” It was great being only a few minutes walk from several beaches, a nice park with playground for our kids, and all of the great shops and restaurants on and near Main Street. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Gloucester in the future!

Harbortown Hideaway is a beautiful home with lovely gardens, amazing views of Gloucester Harbor, and a short walk to the waterfront and wonderful bakeries and restaurants. We were in town for a family reunion in Lanesville and this house allowed us easy travel all around Cape Ann. Only about an hour away from Boston, we even took in a game at Fenway. The owners were very kind and accommodating. We highly recommend this property.

Hideaway was great for us

We rented the Hideaway for its convenience to the Beauport Hotel where our son was getting married. It worked very well for our coming and going around Gloucester taking care of final arrangements. The house was comfortable with plenty of room for our family. The nice deck, kitchen and dining area allowed us to have the groomsmen hang out for the afternoon, enjoy lunch and get into their tuxedos for the wedding. This house met our needs and expectations and we highly recommend it to others. We also recommend the services of AVH and their team.

Perfect location close to town. This home was very comfortable with all the necessary equipment. Nice kitchen and lounge/living area which was great for relaxing. Great outdoor table and deck area when the sun came out! I would recommend this property.
