Escape to Cape Hedge House overlooking Saratoga Creek, Long Beach and Cape Hedge Beach in Rockport! Enjoy the soothing sounds of the sea from the several outdoor areas or take a short walk to the beach.
This charming, fully air conditioned home has water views throughout. Enter into the comfortable living room with a gas fireplace and wall-mounted tv. Pass through the dining area into the modern, well-appointed kitchen. Off the main floor is a spacious deck and screened porch with stunning water views. There is also a main floor Queen bedroom and full bathroom with a walk-in shower.
There are two bedrooms on the second floor. On one side, with water views, is a room with two full beds next to a full bathroom accessed via the hall. The primary suite has a king bed, ensuite bathroom and a private balcony.
The basement offers a cozy seating area, a desk and sliding doors to a small patio with views of the marsh and the ocean beyond.
There is parking for 2 cars (only) in front of the house. No smoking. No pets. No events or parties.
What does my rented vacation home provide?
Since all Atlantic Vacation Homes rental properties are residential homes, and not hotel rooms, they are all fully furnished and include a living room, kitchen, and bedrooms and bathrooms as described on each property detail page.
- The kitchen includes cooking utensils, pots & pans, dishcloths, potholders, flatware, dishware, glassware and a corkscrew. Standard appliances include a refrigerator, microwave, stove, toaster, and coffee maker. Some properties are equipped with additional items; please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property. If you require specialty items, such as kitchen scales or food processors, it is best to bring your own.
- Bed linens and bath linens (bath towels, hand towels and face cloths) are provided in accordance with the advertised occupancy of the property. Beds will be made with linens, pillows, blankets, and bedspreads prior to your arrival, with the exception of trundles, top bunks, futons, and sleep sofas.
- The property includes basic housekeeping supplies, such as brooms and dustpans.
- Many (but not all) properties have a landline for local calls. Please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property.
- Air conditioning, beach towels, hot tubs, TVs, DVD players, porch furniture, grills, docks, recreational games and equipment, and other amenities are furnished as a courtesy by the homeowner and are not guaranteed. Please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property for details.
Guests will also receive a “Welcome Kit” that contains:
- An area guide
- One kitchen sponge
- One small bottle of dish soap
- One dishwasher detergent pod or packet
- One laundry detergent pod or packet
- One trash bag
In addition, the complimentary items below are provided as a convenient starter supply for when you first arrive. Additional items beyond the starter supply are the responsibility of the guest.

Perfect rental property

Cape Hedge House is a Jewel!
by Marilyn TownsendCape Hedge is a jewel - during our week in early June, we celebrated my husband's 83rd birthday, and enjoyed all six kids who dropped in from around the country on various days. There is a lovely deck on the second floor off the master bedroom which as we read or sleep brings in the sound of the ocean; another deck off the first floor to enjoy meals outside or just mingle; a spacious living and dining area, a modern kitchen; three baths. The home is decorated in quiet, peaceful tones. Truly a jewel!

The highlight, without a doubt, was the breathtaking view. Waking up to the sound of the waves and looking out over the ocean each morning was pure magic. The location is peaceful and relaxing, but still just a short drive to the shops and restaurants in town. It felt like the perfect escape - quiet, scenic, and cozy. We truly felt at home and didn't want to leave. Highly recommend this beautiful spot for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the best of Rockport!

Wonderful house
by ChristinaIt was a perfect house for us! We were an extended family of six ranging in age from 2-almost 80. The first floor bed and bath were great for the eldest. We loved the views, the kitchen was nice and big, and the covered porch (it was a little chilly out). The views out the second floor master were great too. The house is very well-appointed, seems brand-new. Thank you for sharing this amazing space.
