This sweet vacation rental cottage is a short distance to two of Rockport's finest beaches - Cape Hedge and Long Beach. The cozy summer cottage has lovely views, from the back deck and lush yard, of the marsh and Saratoga Creek which handles the glittering tidal flow from the beaches.

Beach Bungalow is a one-level living vacation rental designed for easy living. You will have everything you need for the perfect beach getaway with the enclosed sun porch for additional living space. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating which conveniently doubles as the dining area. Several rooms are wall-paneled creating a cozy and comfy feel.

Off of the living area are two bedrooms, a modern bathroom with a shower, as well as the compact but very functional kitchen, which has everything you need. A door from the kitchen leads to the back deck which is set up with outdoor seating including a dining table and grill with views of the water.

Just a short path takes you to the Saratoga Creek Footbridge which leads you to your choice of Cape Hedge (to the left) or Long Beach (to the right). Life should always have such easy choices! Choose to spend your beach vacation in this idyllic spot in Rockport by the sea.

There is off-street parking for 2 cars in the driveway.

What does my rented vacation home provide?


Since all Atlantic Vacation Homes rental properties are residential homes, and not hotel rooms, they are all fully furnished and include a living room, kitchen, and bedrooms and bathrooms as described on each property detail page.


  • The kitchen includes cooking utensils, pots & pans, dishcloths, potholders, flatware, dishware, glassware and a corkscrew. Standard appliances include a refrigerator, microwave, stove, toaster, and coffee maker. Some properties are equipped with additional items; please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property. If you require specialty items, such as kitchen scales or food processors, it is best to bring your own.

  • Bed linens and bath linens (bath towels, hand towels and face cloths) are provided in accordance with the advertised occupancy of the property. Beds will be made with linens, pillows, blankets, and bedspreads prior to your arrival, with the exception of trundles, top bunks, futons, and sleep sofas.

  • The property includes basic housekeeping supplies, such as brooms and dustpans.

  • Many (but not all) properties have a landline for local calls. Please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property.

  • Air conditioning, beach towels, hot tubs, TVs, DVD players, porch furniture, grills, docks, recreational games and equipment, and other amenities are furnished as a courtesy by the homeowner and are not guaranteed. Please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property for details.

Guests will also receive a “Welcome Kit” that contains:


  • An area guide

  • One kitchen sponge

  • One small bottle of dish soap

  • One dishwasher detergent pod or packet

  • One laundry detergent pod or packet

  • One trash bag

In addition, the complimentary items below are provided as a convenient starter supply for when you first arrive. Additional items beyond the starter supply are the responsibility of the guest.

Lovely cottage and great location

The cottage was very clean and well equipped. Close to Long Beach and Cape Hedge. The street is a bit busy so there’s some traffic noise but quiet at night. Could use air Conditioning for hot days and nights. The deck didn’t have shade so was hot on sunny days. An umbrella would be great as it’s a lovely deck. We enjoyed the screened in porch.

Great little cottage

We loved our stay in this cozy, clean, and nicely located cottage. We loved everything about it. Our only issue was that there needs to be air conditioning for the days it gets really warm. We had 4 fans going but could not get it comfortable on a few of the really hot days.

The view for this property was fabulous. The closeness to our favorite beach was key. The pictures provided were accurate to how the property looked. It could use an updated bathroom and some more fans due to lack of A/C. In addition, the blinds were a little shaky as well. Overall, a great stay.

Compact and tidy house plus great location!

Great location despite near somewhat busy road. Best kitchen in a rented house in my recent experience- 5 stars for quality and thoughtful kitchenware / set up and sharpest knives ever (I usually bring my own but didn’t to haul them out this time). No dishwasher but that was fine for us. Everything was pristine, tidy and well kept. Lovey deck too. Slept 4 comfortably.

Nice and cozy

Perfect fun place for bbq; walking distance to the beach. The kids loved the hammock and outdoors. It had everything a family need for a week at the beach. Looking forward to visit again. This is our third year renting from AVH, we are very pleased with their services.

Wonderful bungalow by the sea

My wife and I needed a rental while our home underwentremodeling. AVH found us a great rental that provided total comfort. The location, of course, was exceptional. Great neighbors and access to the lovely beach. Clearly, the bungalow owners take exceptional care of the property and respond quickly to any concerns. The staff at AVH also are very professional and accessible. We recommend this rental wholeheartedly along with the staff at AVH! We hope to use their service again.
