Description

Good Harbor Beach, one of Gloucester's finest stretches of sand, is just a five minute walk from this comfortable ocean-view vacation rental home. Spend the day at the beach where you can swim, soak in the sun, or walk at low tide out to picturesque Salt Island. Prefer to stay at the house? Relax and read a book on its expansive deck taking in the views of the sparkling Atlantic with sailboats parading by. Inhale the fresh salt air, and listen to the muffled sound of the waves lapping the shoreline. A ten-minute stroll in the other direction will bring you to Long Beach, often filled with surfers as they catch the waves. An ice cream stand, luncheonette and several roadside eateries are nearby.

Enter from the parking area to the home’s lower level. This level includes the entrance area, a spacious queen bedroom, full bath with shower, laundry room and a den. From here you can head outside to the front yard area or up the stairs to the main living space.

The stairs open into a sitting room with comfortable sofas and large picture windows that look out over the expansive deck and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. Walk into the next open plan room with another seating area and a flat screen TV, kitchen with breakfast bar, dining area and more picture windows and sliders leading out to the ocean side deck. This floor has two bedrooms, one a queen and one with two double beds, as well as a full bath with tub and shower.

What does my rented vacation home provide?

Since all Atlantic Vacation Homes rental properties are residential homes, and not hotel rooms, they are all fully furnished and include a living room, kitchen, and bedrooms and bathrooms as described on each property detail page.

  • The kitchen includes cooking utensils, pots & pans, dishcloths, potholders, flatware, dishware, glassware and a corkscrew. Standard appliances include a refrigerator, microwave, stove, toaster, and coffee maker. Some properties are equipped with additional items; please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property. If you require specialty items, such as kitchen scales or food processors, it is best to bring your own.
  • Bed linens and bath linens (bath towels, hand towels and face cloths) are provided in accordance with the advertised occupancy of the property. Beds will be made with linens, pillows, blankets, and bedspreads prior to your arrival, with the exception of trundles, top bunks, futons, and sleep sofas.
  • The property includes basic housekeeping supplies, such as brooms and dustpans.
  • Many (but not all) properties have a landline for local calls. Please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property.
  • Air conditioning, beach towels, hot tubs, TVs, DVD players, porch furniture, grills, docks, recreational games and equipment, and other amenities are furnished as a courtesy by the homeowner and are not guaranteed. Please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property for details.

Guests will also receive a “Welcome Kit” that contains:

  • An area guide
  • One kitchen sponge
  • One small bottle of dish soap
  • One dishwasher detergent pod or packet

In addition, the complimentary items below are provided as a convenient starter supply for when you first arrive. Additional items beyond the starter supply are the responsibility of the guest.

This house is situated in a fantastic location right near good harbor and long beach. There are amazing waterfront views from every room. I had an amazing month at the ocean and would recommend it to anyone interested at being on the ocean.

The vacation was excellent. Good Harbor Beach is always beautiful and dynamic. The weather was sunny and warm/hot. And the house was the best part. The deck was perfect, affording a great view of - Salt Island! Being outside in such comfort was a real treat. The house was very clean and everything worked, including the grill. We’ll be back next summer.
