Manchester by-the-Sea Memorial Day Parade
The Annual Manchester’s Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday, May 30th at 9:30 a.m. The parade route will begin at the Army and Navy Club, 1090 Main Street, turns east on East Center Street and then turns west at Munro Park, and will conclude at the Center Memorial Park for a Memorial Day Program to honor our Veterans. Marchers should assemble at 8:45 a.m.

Fishtown Horribles Parade & Fireworks
Gloucester’s ‘Fishtown Horribles Parade’ is an old-time Gloucester tradition in which participants dress up in costumes to celebrate Independence Day. The parade also includes bands, floats, politicians, businesses and fire engines. Note that in Gloucester, the July 4th celebrations traditionally take place on July 3rd.
Bluefin Blowout Fishing Tournament
Come see the best of the giant tuna fishermen on the east coast compete in the annual Bluefin Blowout. Presented by Lyon-Waugh Auto Group and hosted by Cape Ann’s Marina Resort, this two-day fishing tournament takes place in Gloucester’s historic fishing port and has been showcased on National Geographic’s hit show “Wicked Tuna.”
