Location, location, location! This vacation home is large and comfortable and is just steps to the white sands and surf of Good Harbor Beach. The location offers the best of all worlds as it is so close to Cape Ann's most popular beach and also has water views of Bass Rocks. This dramatic rocky bit of coastline is a destination for those looking for views of the Atlantic at its most intense. The popular "Back Shore" walk is one of the most scenic walks on the eastern seaboard and the sidewalk begins in front of Seaside House and continues for 1.5 miles one way (or 3 miles round trip back to the house).

The front of the house has a full-length porch from which you can view the sea in comfortable shade and enjoy a beverage or meal in the fresh ocean breezes. From the porch, enter into the living room with a flat screen TV and plenty of seating. The adjoining den has a pullout sofa, a TV, and games, which makes the room serve double-duty as a kid (or adult) getaway or semi-private additional sleeping space. The recently renovated granite kitchen is eat-in and fully applianced. The butler's pantry offers more storage and prep space in addition to a half bath.

Upstairs are 4 bedrooms (3 of which are air conditioned) and two more full baths. The primary bath offers an oversized jetted tub, double sinks and a separate glass-enclosed shower and the hall bath also has a full-size jetted tub with a shower. The house will comfortably sleep 10 with enough room for your family and the folks that will want to visit you in this wonderful beach house. Leave your car in the driveway (and avoid the beach parking fees) and walk to Good Harbor Beach.

The house has two other occupied units with separate entrances and parking.

2,500 SF. No pets. No smoking. No events or parties.

What does my rented vacation home provide?


Since all Atlantic Vacation Homes rental properties are residential homes, and not hotel rooms, they are all fully furnished and include a living room, kitchen, and bedrooms and bathrooms as described on each property detail page.


  • The kitchen includes cooking utensils, pots & pans, dishcloths, potholders, flatware, dishware, glassware and a corkscrew. Standard appliances include a refrigerator, microwave, stove, toaster, and coffee maker. Some properties are equipped with additional items; please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property. If you require specialty items, such as kitchen scales or food processors, it is best to bring your own.

  • Bed linens and bath linens (bath towels, hand towels and face cloths) are provided in accordance with the advertised occupancy of the property. Beds will be made with linens, pillows, blankets, and bedspreads prior to your arrival, with the exception of trundles, top bunks, futons, and sleep sofas.

  • The property includes basic housekeeping supplies, such as brooms and dustpans.

  • Many (but not all) properties have a landline for local calls. Please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property.

  • Air conditioning, beach towels, hot tubs, TVs, DVD players, porch furniture, grills, docks, recreational games and equipment, and other amenities are furnished as a courtesy by the homeowner and are not guaranteed. Please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property for details.

Guests will also receive a “Welcome Kit” that contains:


  • An area guide

  • One kitchen sponge

  • One small bottle of dish soap

  • One dishwasher detergent pod or packet

  • One laundry detergent pod or packet

  • One trash bag

In addition, the complimentary items below are provided as a convenient starter supply for when you first arrive. Additional items beyond the starter supply are the responsibility of the guest.

  • Travel-sized bars of soap in each bathroom

  • One full roll of paper towels in the kitchen

Seaside House 2022

Perfect location for access to Good Harbor Beach, Rockport and Atlantic Ave. Front porch view is amazing. Sunny, spacious and well-equipped

Our family from Maryland, NYC and the Boston area united at the Seaside House for a week in August, including two small children. We have stayed at numerous properties near Good Harbor Beach over several decades, and found Seaside House to be a spacious and well-equipped property just a short walk from the beach, with the added benefit of the lovely Bass Rocks views and walks. Terrific weather and a full moon over the water added to our enjoyment. The owners are on the property and offered any assistance we might need, but all went smoothly. We would suggest the addition of room darkening shades in all windows, especially on the front of the house. It's a great house for kids with all the diversions of the beach, a nice porch, and super play and game room. The busy street traffic right in front of the house was the only downside for us, and did not seriously detract from the restful experience.

Perfect family vacation for 8 people

When we arrived the place was very clean and there was an instruction book for us to follow, making it easy to know what to do with garbage and recyclables, the tv remotes, and how to leave the place upon departure. I met the owner who was very courteous and friendly. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs and one of them is very spacious with a king bed, air conditioning unit, tv, and large bathroom and double sink. The other had a queen and the other 2 had twin beds each. The kitchen is long and fairly wide too. We played games at the kitchen table every night. The house is stocked with about 100 dvd movies and has 2 tv's on the main floor. There were 2 folding tables we used on the porch for our dinners, along with the large glass table and 6 chairs that were already there. I couldn't have been more pleased with a stay at the beach than we were in this house. Had my family of 5 plus my parents and my mother-in-law. We had lobster dinners twice out on the spacious porch which overlooks the ocean. We also cook on the grilled 2 times! Loved our stay! Would do it again in a heartbeat if we can get enough people to fill the house. And it was seamless to make the transactions with the realty company too. They are very courteous.

Our wonderful week in Gloucester

We have been coming to Gloucester every summer and renting for the past 15 years, and have had a range of experiences. This one was the best! The location and the views were incredible. The beach was just a 5 minute walk. The house had every amenity one could ever expect or want. Everything was spotless. The owners were so gracious and welcoming. They even helped me when my antique brain couldn't figure out the TV remote! We plan to be back next year.

The home you rented to us was warm, welcoming and extremely well equipped. The home is clean, bright and has a breathtaking view. The location is perfect for a beach vacation. There were enough items to keep us supplied for the entire week. The games and entertainment equipment were great The staff was all very helpful and understanding of my needs. They make a wonderful team.
