Plaisance is a comfortable modern home nestled in a quiet, leafy neighborhood not far from Good Harbor Beach. The ground floor is open and airy and lets in plenty of natural light throughout the day. The living room is perfect for keeping the family entertained with a large sectional sofa, tv, and a pool table with a cover that converts the table for ping pong. The heart of the home, the kitchen, is perfect for the family that likes to cook, with newer appliances and fun gadgets such as an air popcorn popper and ice cream maker. The kitchen is open to the large dining room, which makes it easy for everyone to gather and chat while meals are being prepared.
Rounding out the ground-floor is a full bathroom and also a den with a sleeper sofa, allowing it to double as an extra bedroom if needed.
Upstairs is another full bath and three bedrooms, including a spacious Primary suite with a full bath and access to a private deck. For your comfort, there are four air conditioning splits throughout the house including in the primary bedroom.
The deck overlooks the fenced-in yard and features a patio dining set. There is also a gas grill and an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand after the beach.
Plaisance offers convenience and comfort, just a half-mile to Gloucester's Good Harbor Beach. It's a superb beach retreat for your family's summer vacation.

What does my rented vacation home provide?
Since all Atlantic Vacation Homes rental properties are residential homes, and not hotel rooms, they are all fully furnished and include a living room, kitchen, and bedrooms and bathrooms as described on each property detail page.
- The kitchen includes cooking utensils, pots & pans, dishcloths, potholders, flatware, dishware, glassware and a corkscrew. Standard appliances include a refrigerator, microwave, stove, toaster, and coffee maker. Some properties are equipped with additional items; please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property. If you require specialty items, such as kitchen scales or food processors, it is best to bring your own.
- Bed linens and bath linens (bath towels, hand towels and face cloths) are provided in accordance with the advertised occupancy of the property. Beds will be made with linens, pillows, blankets, and bedspreads prior to your arrival, with the exception of trundles, top bunks, futons, and sleep sofas.
- The property includes basic housekeeping supplies, such as brooms and dustpans.
- Many (but not all) properties have a landline for local calls. Please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property.
- Air conditioning, beach towels, hot tubs, TVs, DVD players, porch furniture, grills, docks, recreational games and equipment, and other amenities are furnished as a courtesy by the homeowner and are not guaranteed. Please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property for details.
Guests will also receive a “Welcome Kit” that contains:
- An area guide
- One kitchen sponge
- One small bottle of dish soap
- One dishwasher detergent pod or packet
- One laundry detergent pod or packet
- One trash bag
In addition, the complimentary items below are provided as a convenient starter supply for when you first arrive. Additional items beyond the starter supply are the responsibility of the guest.

Primary Bedroom
1 King
The Primary suite has everything you need to relax. There is a king bed and an adjacent spacious sitting area that can be used for reading or even yoga. To top it off there is a porch off the bedroom, perfect for morning coffee or to enjoy a summer evening.

This room contains a Queen bed and offers plenty of natural light and two closets.
Bedroom 3
1 Full/Double
This bright corner room contains a Full bed.
Bathroom 1
Includes a tile and glass walk-in shower.
Bathroom 2
Ensuite to the Primary bedroom, this large, modern bathroom has a gorgeous soaking tub, a walk-in shower, and a double vanity.

A full bathroom off the hall with a tub/shower combination.
Living Room/Game Room
A large and sunny room with many windows, a large sectional sofa, a wall-mounted flat screen TV, and a billiards table that also doubles as a ping-pong table.
Kitchen
The kitchen contains granite counter tops, recently updated stainless appliances, and a gas range. The kitchen is open to the adjacent dining room, separated by a breakfast bar.
Dining Room
The large dining room seats 8 and includes a small sitting area in front of the gas fireplace.
Den
A cozy den offers a pull-out sofa for extra sleeping space.
