Location, location, location—that’s Rockport's sought-after South End. Find yourself just a minute's walk to the Atlantic Ocean for a swim at Old Garden Beach or take in the coastal view featuring Rockport's twin lighthouses on historic Thatcher Island.

Inside this renovated ranch-style vacation rental home, you will be treated to a thoughtful interior fused with a bit of whimsy. Each room is themed and colorful but tastefully decorated, from the spacious living room with ornamental fireplace, to the eat-in cook’s kitchen and separate dining room, to the bedrooms. The home is also fully air conditioned and has ceiling fans in just about every room. A former breezeway has been thoughtfully turned into an office and the third private bedroom is beyond at the back of the garage (note that the garage is not included). The third bedroom has its own door to the well-manicured garden, which features a koi pond with a waterfall.

No Pets. No Smoking.

Bathroom 1: Half bath connected to the Master bedroom.

Bedroom 2: 1 Queen Bed, ceiling fan.

Bedroom 3: Off of the garage, there is a Full bed and an A/C unit.

Bathroom 2: Half bath.

Bathroom 3: Full Bath with a jetted tub and shower.


Laundry: Washer and dryer.


Koi pond located off the spacious back deck, pop up irrigation system, sod lawn.


Parking for 2 cars in the driveway. Additional parking available on street.

What's Included

What does my rented vacation home provide?

Since all Atlantic Vacation Homes rental properties are residential homes, and not hotel rooms, they are all fully furnished and include a living room, kitchen, and bedrooms and bathrooms as described on each property detail page.

  • The kitchen includes cooking utensils, pots & pans, dishcloths, potholders, flatware, dishware, glassware and a corkscrew. Standard appliances include a refrigerator, microwave, stove, toaster, and coffee maker. Some properties are equipped with additional items; please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property. If you require specialty items, such as kitchen scales or food processors, it is best to bring your own.
  • Bed linens and bath linens (bath towels, hand towels and face cloths) are provided in accordance with the advertised occupancy of the property. Beds will be made with linens, pillows, blankets, and bedspreads prior to your arrival, with the exception of trundles, top bunks, futons, and sleep sofas.
  • The property includes basic housekeeping supplies, such as brooms and dustpans.
  • Many (but not all) properties have a landline for local calls. Please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property.
  • Air conditioning, beach towels, hot tubs, TVs, DVD players, porch furniture, grills, docks, recreational games and equipment, and other amenities are furnished as a courtesy by the homeowner and are not guaranteed. Please refer to the full amenity list for your specific property for details.

Guests will also receive a “Welcome Kit” that contains:

  • An area guide
  • One kitchen sponge
  • One small bottle of dish soap
  • One dishwasher detergent pod or packet
  • One laundry detergent pod or packet
  • One trash bag

In addition, the complimentary items below are provided as a convenient starter supply for when you first arrive. Additional items beyond the starter supply are the responsibility of the guest.

We spent our third summer at Marmion Way and could not be happier. The house is comfortable and has a fabulously well-stocked kitchen. The backyard faces a small, untraveled (except the occasional car and dog-walkers) and across the road is an open field. The neighbors on either side of quiet and nice. The house is well-located, an easy walk into town for shopping, dinner, and the library. The owner is affable and available for help when needed, As always, AVH gives impeccable service. A lovely place to spend a month!

We returned for a second year because the house suits our needs so well. The quiet location, the lovely yard, the easy walk into town or over the Old Garden Beach, the well-equipped all makes for a quiet, restful, and comfortable time. As always, AVH is welcoming and available to help when/if needed. The property owner comes by to cut the grass and fix small problems that may arise. We like the house, we adore Rockport, and we'd return again in a heartbeat.

Marmion Way worked brilliantly for us. The house was clean, quite comfortable, and had a kitchen stocked with every implement one could want. The street and backyard is pin-drop quiet, and it is an easy walk not just to Old Garden Beach but into Rockport. Some of the art work took a bit of getting used to, but overall, we enjoyed the house enormously. We look forward to returning here.
