The property is privately situated off a small lane that proved attractive to the U.S Government during WWII, enough so for an observation tower to be built to watch for potential invaders from the sea. This tower is still standing and is a well known landmark to boaters. The recently renovated kitchen with gleaming granite counters and new appliances as well as a new bath with oversize shower complement the antique charm of the rest of the house. A large dining room with interior grill area opens onto a sunroom, which leads to a deck with lovely views. The living room has large bay window with waterviews and alternate sleeping on the new pull out sofa. The second floor has 3 bedrooms and another full bath, and the 3rd floor has 2 more small bedrooms with views. Wireless internet service is provided. Please note that this is a summer cottage and does not have heat.
