Overview
Named for the magnificent sunsets that can be enjoyed from inside on the sun porch, or outside on one of two decks, this delightful and completely renovated waterfront cottage in Gloucester's relaxed Riverdale district is air conditioned (living room unit cools the whole house)and directly on the tidal Annisquam River. From your doorstep, you can swim or fish (or bring your own kayaks) from the sandy beach at low tide, or from the dock at high tide. Enjoy the new kitchen and bath, dine on the sunporch and watch the parade of river boats. There is a common path that goes along the side of the owners' house above, down steps through the garden and across the decks to the freestanding dock. The owners occasionally cross the dock to get to their boat. There are two parking spaces for your use.
