Rockport! Walk to Beach and Village! The Enchanted Cottage is more like two homes in one with east meeting west in a serendipitous way. The first thing that strikes one when entering the grounds is the lush plantings and gorgeous manicured landscaping
including a custom made pond with waterfall, that shields the house from view from the street. Enter into the first of two kitchens, this one being very sunny with a dishwasher and Jenn-air gas cook-top with grill, refrigerator and small sink. Go up two stairs
to the upper part of the house which is decorated with an eastern influence into a great room living/dining area with cathedral ceilings, fireplace and ocean views from the deck. This deck is also the perfect place to enjoy the ocean breezes that come off
of Old Garden beach, just a few hundred yards from the house, or to just enjoy the beautiful gardens below. Also on this floor is a full bath and a master bedroom with a king sized bed. The lower part of the house is reminiscient of Tudor England with half-timbered
walls and great beams, oversized windows and skylights in the living room which has a Dutch door leading to the deck overlooking that lovely yard. The bright twin bedroom has large windows and lovely English country style wallpaper. Two steps down lead to
a full bath with a shower, laundry area and another full kitchen which is the perfect place to cook your lobsters and store your beverages. Finally there is an outdoor shower for getting the beach sand off. Off street parking for two cars makes this the perfect
east/west vacation destination! Beautiful pond but parents need to be watchful of small chiildren.
