SPECIAL RATES - ask your realtor. Newly refurbished in 2009, this four bedroom four bath home is located on a lovely historic street in the picturesque village of Rockport less than one block from Front Beach, and within walking distance to the many shops, restaurants and galleries. The house is conveniently set up with a kitchenette and full bath in every room, sleeping up to 10 comfortably. Ideal for larger family groups or friends that vacation together, there is plenty of off street parking and the house has views of the lovely Millbrook Meadow Park as well as some views of the water from the second floor. One bedroom has a new queen pullout sofa so it doubles as a living area for the house. Off of this room is a lovely screen porch which is perfect for group dining. Add to this the wonderful farmer's porch which is a lovely place to sit and relax and watch the happy Rockport vacationers stroll by. Please note that this property rents Friday to Friday. Laundry facilities are not available at this property but, a laundromat is a short distance away at the Whistle Stop Mall. In the off season, the house is available as a whole to rent, or as separate units. Off season nightly, weekly, and monthly rates available (3 night minimum). Ask your realtor for more information.

    We enjoyed being walking distance to the beaches and downtown Rockport with its many shops and galleries. Also wonderfully quiet location despite being so close to town. The screened porch and outdoor porch areas were especially nice.
    This is a lovely property.

    Great location across from Front Beach and walking distance from Bearskin Neck and Back Beach. We had bad weather most of the time but thoroughly enjoyed the house.

    This ia a quirky property (4 BR, 4 BA, 4 kitchenettes), but we loved it. It was very clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. Can't beat the location -- you can walk everywhere.

    I was happy with the rental agency, too, and the material they left at the property (info on local restaurants, businesses, activities, etc) was most helpful.

    My only 'warning' would be that if you want to cook big dinners, this may not be the right house for you. The dining area is small and the kitchenettes make real cooking a challenge. But, all-in-all, I give this property a big thumbs up!

    You can see the ocean from this house and walk to one of two beaches in a minute. Everything is a few minutes walk,including restaurants, shopping, and parks. Even the train to Boston is just up the street.
    The property is divided into 4 little areas all of which have tiny kitchenettes,baths, and beds or sleep sofa. As there were only four of us, we used the room with the sofa as a living room. This room has the biggest (still small) kitchen, a great screened in porch and another open air porch.

    The home and location suited our group of ten (ages 5 - 60's) just fine. Although the weather wasn't great, there was still opportunities to enjoy the beach, park, and community. We appreciated that the train was within easy walking distance for a couple of days in Boston.

    We loved staying at the house and for the eight family members there were eight very comfortable beds. However, the couch that was supposed to turn into a bed was miserable. It was very uncomfortable to sit on and when one of my grand daughter's boyfriends spent one night with us we took the mattress out and put it on the floor and still it was very uncomfortable. Thank goodness he is easy to please. We have friends looking at the house for next summer and we told them to make sure the couch was replaced. Other than that, we loved the house and we had a wonderful time.
